AP govt gives in to sexuality bias
The joy of getting recognised under the minorities welfare department, after years of struggle, has proved shortlived for the transgender community in Andhra Pradesh. Vocal protests by religious minorities has forced the Andhra Pradesh government to cancel its GO granting the group official recognition as a sexual minority.
