Apple "Hacking" Alert Row: Politics Or Real Threat?
A massive controversy erupted today after several Opposition MPs shared an alert they received from Apple warning of "state-sponsored" attackers trying to hack their phones and directly targetted the government. Union IT Minster Ashwini Vaishnaw hit back and called the MPs, including Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, "compulsive critics" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said the government has ordered a probe and Apple must cooperate.
