Apple on Wednesday reported that it had made its best quarterly earnings in India in the quarter ending December 26, doubling its business year-on-year. As per market research firm Counterpoint, Apple shipped more than 1.5 million iPhone units in India in the quarter - a record for the company in the country. CyberMedia Research reports the firm doubled its market share to 4 percent. Overall, Apple shipped more than 3.2 million iPhone units in India in 2020, up 60 percent year-on-year, TechCrunch cited Counterpoint to report. The sales development comes soon after the company launched its online store in the country and offered buyers a wide-scope of financing and overhaul alternatives. (Credit: ANI)
