Reacting to controversy that he and his father, Shanti Bhushan - co-chairman of the Lokpal Bill drafting committee- were allotted land in Uttar Pradesh by the Mayawati government well below market rates, Jayant Bhushan said that the land allotment should have been through a draw of lots. He also said that arbitrary allotment of land was wrong.
