With the recently launched National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, skill development is back in focus again and the government has set an ambitious target of skilling 40.2 crore people by 2022. Key to self-reliance and development of a strong and prosperous nation, skilling could also be the answer to the problem of unemployment. But the big question is whether India's young are ready for it. Or are they shying away from vocational courses? We debate.
