The 5th India-Japan joint exercise 'DHARMA GUARDIAN' is underway in Rajasthan. Both armies demonstrated how troops work in synergy to bring down a target. They performed a kill house exercise and used specially-trained dogs and eagles for the task. The exercise aims to strengthen the capabilities of both armies in counter-terrorism and disaster response scenarios. 'Dharma Guardian' is an annual exercise conducted alternatively in India and Japan. The Japanese contingent is represented by troops from the 34th Infantry Regiment. The Rajputana Rifles is representing the Indian Army contingent.
