Army Chief visits Philippines, Malaysia
Indo- US defence cooperation may be growing. But the chief of Army staff decided visited Philippines and Malayasia. ''I think we are very common with what is happening within the Indian Army. When we talk of communist insurgency, India too has left wing extremism in quite a number of states in India. The Indian Army is tackling almost similar issues,'' said General Deepak Kapoor, Chief of Army Staff.
