Yami Gautam, who plays an intelligence officer in the film Uri, told NDTV that it was very important for the team to receive validation from army jawans and was thrilled when an army officer complimented her for her performance in Uri. The film, which releases today, is based on the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian army in 2016.
