Army Remembers Brave Dog Kent Who Died Saving Soldier From Terrorists
As tributes began to pour in for Kent, the Army dog who sacrificed her life to protect her handler during a terrorist encounter, the Indian army also remembered its hero canine with a video. On Tuesday, the six-year-old Labrador was leading a group of soldiers during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri when the terrorists opened fire at them. To shield her handler from the gunfire, Kent laid down her own life.
