Art market brushes aside recession fears
The economic slowdown might have dampened sales of Indian art but the spirit of auction houses remain undeterred. Well-known auction house Saffronart is in gear for its spring online auction where 110 works by 71 artists is expected to clock in a lower price estimate of Rs 13.2 crore. The auction features works by popular contemporary artists as well as renowned modernists.
