Art Matters: A North-East Themed Festival
On Art Matters this week, we look at a recently concluded festival on the north-east held in the capital. Organised by the National Foundation of India, 'Art East' looked at some of the critical issues confronting the island of Majuli in Assam. With photographs, art installations, films, panel discussions and music, the festival sought to address migration, displacement and livelihood.
