Art Matters: re-imagining Gandhi
To the many ways of seeing and reading Gandhi, the latest addition is a Heritage Portal put together by the Sabarmati Ashram, Gujarat Vidyapeeth and Navjeevan Trust in Ahmedabad. All these institutions were started by the Mahatma. The Gandhi heritage portal is an integrated archive of his public life, private moments and the making of modern India. And at the heart of it are 100 volumes of his collected works, besides photographs, films, audio recordings, old texts and all the journals he edited.
