India's classical, literary heritage is vast and precious. But few of us have really had access to it, with language being the stumbling block for both modern day Indians and people around the world. Dr Rohan Murthy decided to be part of the change he wanted to see. The son of IT entrepreneur NR Narayana Murthy, he donated millions of dollars to Harvard University to launch the Murthy Classical Library. The reality is, for many urban Indians, the language we know and use the best is English. That has been depriving us of access to what nobody can deny is a treasure chest of thoughts and philosophy.
