This week, two artists take us inside their imaginative takes on reality. First, we have Aruna Chakravarti who talks to us about 'Daughters of Jorasanko', her new book of short stories and the sequel to her historical fiction, 'Jorasanko'. In these books, she offers a view of Santiniketan at the start of the 20th century, when Rabindranath Tagore started exploring theory and art.
We also meet artist Vishal K. Dar, who works with both video and sculpture. Dar's work that contends with time as we know it and the result is hypnotic, looping and often, eerie. Additionally, we inaugurate this new month with a list of the art events scheduled to happen across India. And, as always, learn a bit about the world of Mojarto.
