Art Transcends Caste, Creed And Colour: Dr Preeti Adani At Book Launch Event

Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, and wife of Adani group chairman, Gautam Adani, underscored the crucial role of art and culture in education and society during a book launch event. Two books by author Dr Yasmin Singh related to the history of Kathak dance were launched on Monday. The books, Kathak Rachnaon Ka Saundarya Bodh (The Aesthetic Sensibility of Kathak Creations) and Raja Chakradhar Singh (The Patron and Founder of Kathak Dance) were launched at the Constitution Club of India in Delhi. The first book emphasizes the importance of beauty, emotions, and rasa (aesthetic essence) in dance art, while the second book delves into the contributions of the Raigarh Gharana in Kathak dance, particularly highlighting the efforts of its founder, Raja Chakradhar Singh, in preserving and promoting the art form.
