Artists attempt to combat piracy
Faking famous art is a universal practice but in a heated Indian art market with prices soaring, art forgeries are becoming widespread. However, leading artists are trying their best to combat piracy. "Most artists don't want to get into the legality of the thing. For example at an exhibition, a Raza and a Husain were fake but the artist chose not to react," said artist Anjolie Ela Menon.
