As soon as the winter session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly began on Friday, Former Chief and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue of security arrangements in the capital. He said, "Delhi is ruled by gangsters." Referring to recent incidents, Kejriwal mentioned that there are 11 active gangs in Delhi. Along with this, Kejriwal also raised the issue of the murder of a gym trainer in Greater Kailash and another ransom call. In both cases, the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had come up. He said that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is causing havoc in Delhi and is operating from Sabarmati Jail.
