Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will announce his party's Chief Ministerial candidate for the Punjab assembly elections today. The announcement will be made at 12 pm. Assembly elections in Punjab will be held on February 20, the Election Commission said on Monday. The date has been changed from February 14 after political parties requested the Election Commission to factor in Guru Ravidas Jayanti celebrations. Asserting that the contest in Goa is between the Congress and the BJP, senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Monday said his assessment that the AAP and the Trinamool Congress will only "fracture" the non-BJP vote has been "confirmed" by Arvind Kejriwal.
