Arvind Kejriwal vs BJP Over Arrest Of AAP MLA Naresh Balyan

Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at the BJP over the arrest of AAP's MLA Naresh Balyan in connection with an extortion case registered last year. Mr Kejriwal said "MLA Naresh Balyan is a victim of gangster Kapil Sangwan. Instead of arresting the gangster, Delhi Police arrested Naresh Balyan". The arrest follows the release of an audio clip by the BJP, purportedly featuring the AAP legislator from Uttam Nagar instructing gangster Kapil Sangwan, also known as Nandu. On Saturday, BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia alleged that Naresh Balyan was involved in extortion with the assistance of a gangster, asserting that "gangsters are the biggest supporters of AAP." Today, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said that the arrest of Naresh Balyan would expose more individuals as the investigation unfolds.
