The election in Himachal Pradesh was fought largely in PM Narendra Modi's name and PK Dhumal Dhumal was announced as the Chief Ministerial candidate just 10 days before voting. Mr Dhumal shared a photograph with the Prime Minister as counting of votes began in the state.
