'ASHA Workers Play A Critical Role In Ensuring Last Mile Access To Healthcare'

Oncologist and Padma Shri awardee Dr Ravi Kannan joined the discussion on ensuring "health for all" during the Banega Swasth India season 9 finale. Dr Kannan, who works for cancer patients in Assam, shared the health impact of empowering the community and working with ASHA workers. He added, "India is transforming from a developing nation to a developed country. Our diseases are also changing from infectious diseases to lifestyle diseases." He said, it is everyone's responsibility to promote health.
