Asia-Pacific Region Faces Major Headwinds Amid Ukraine War: IMF

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) in its latest report said the Asia-Pacific region faces major headwinds. "The war in Ukraine will hurt demand for exports from Asia and China's economy is undergoing a sharp and an uncharacteristic slowdown," Krishna Srinivasan, Director of IMF's Asia and Pacific Department, told NDTV. The IMF said China's growth forecast is the second-lowest since 1977.
