Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed concern over the situation in Bangladesh, emphasizing that it must not become a safe haven for terrorists. He highlighted the need for securing India's borders in case of continued unrest in Bangladesh, which could lead to an influx of people into India. Sarma also hoped for the Indian government to maintain close ties with the Bangladesh government to prevent the country from becoming a hub for extremist activities.
