Assam Congress Protest Outside Hotel Hosting Sena Rebels
All the political tamasha around the Maharastra MLAs is being played out from a Guwahati hotel at a time, when over 300 km away in southern Assam's Silchar, over two lakh people are waiting for help with a flooded river inundating large areas of the city. There's anger growing among flood victims - in Guwahati, opposition parties have hit the streets with protests alleging the BJP government is getting its priority wrong.
