Assam floods: Children suffer most
Two thirds of Assam is still struggling to recover from successive waves of flood. 45 people have died and 30 lakh affected in the last wave that lashed across the state. And with 20 lakh children affected across the state and vulnerable to illness and starvation, the government needs greater delivery mechanism to target children.
