Assam Floods: Over 11 Lakh People Affected In 28 Districts

The flood situation in Assam remained grim with over 11 lakh people being affected in 28 districts of the state while over 26 thousand people have been shifted to relief camps.

Multiple agencies, including the NDRF, SDRF, Indian Army, Indian Air Force and the local administration, were engaged in rescue operations. A report by NDTV's Ratnadip Choudhury
