Assam Floods: Over 3 Lakh People Affected
In Assam, over 3 lakh people are affected across 22 districts due to the floods in the state. The highest number of people have been hit in Majuli district. Authorities say excess rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, registering a departure of 95% above normal, clubbed with 45% excess rainfall in Assam, has led to sudden deterioration of the situation in Assam.
