Assam Rifles jawan kills 6 in Manipur
In what could be the single biggest instance of a uniformed personnel killing his colleagues and a senior, an Assam Rifles went on a shooting rampage. The jawan was posted at Ukhrul in Manipur. He shot at and killed five of his fellow jawans and a Junior Commissioned Officer. After shooting, the jawan fled taking with him the weapon. A massive Army operation is on to find him. The shooting followed an altercation between the jawan and his colleagues.
