Assam Shocker: Minor Assaulted, Forced To Chant 'Jai Shree Ram' By Group Of Youths
A group of unruly youths assaulted an 8th-grade student and forcefully made him chant "Jai Shree Ram" in Assam's Silchar. The incident took place in the Chandrapur area of Silchar, the district headquarters of Cachar district of Assam. The victim, a Muslim student studying in Class 8 at Narsing School in Silchar, resides in Madhurbandh area of Silchar. According to reports, the student was accosted by a group of unruly youths while on his way home from school yesterday. The group accused the student of writing "Allahu Akbar" on the school wall and began beating him on the streets.
