Assam Wants Legislators, Parliamentarians To Be Brought Under Two-Child Policy
Anyone with more than 2 children will be automatically disqualified from any government job in Assam from January 2021 onward. A policy that was drafted in 2017 is being implemented by the Sarbananda Sonowal-led BJP government in the state. Many states in India already have the 2 child norm in place albeit in different forms.
