Assaulted, Stripped In Public, Kerala Student Dies By Suicide, Parents Blame SFI

A veterinary student in Kerala's Wayanad died by suicide after reportedly being assaulted and stripped over suspected misbheaviour. The student's parents alleged SFI members beat up their son. The accused allegedly conducted a public trial on campus before assaulting the 22-year-old. Eighteen people have been arrested so far. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has suspended the Vice Chancellor of the university.
