Congress Leader On Factionalism, Party's Gujarat Strategy As BJP Surges Ahead
Congress leader Pawan Khera spoke on factionalism within the party, alleged 'operation lotus' and the party's Gujarat strategy. "We are, of course, once bitten twice shy and we are very alert and we won't give BJP any opportunity to indulge in operation Lotus," he said. On a question of factions within the Congress, Mr Khera said, "There are factions in all the parties. There are factions within the BJP too in Gujarat and Himachal". He also said the template of the party's campaign in Gujarat "was different from the last election. We focused more on booth management. Let the day unfold and see what happens."
