Congress Leader On Strategy In Gujarat As Leads Show Gains For BJP
"The purpose of the Bharat Jodo Yatra is completely different. The idea of the yatra was conceived much before the Gujarat polls. This time the strategy was that we will go to the ground. We were trying to use a different method this time," said Congress leader Prashant Pratap. The BJP is ahead in 137 seats in Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state. The Congress, which delivered a strong performance in the last election, is leading in 37 seats.
