At Mamata's house celebration begins
West Bengal polls: Counting is still in progress, but West Bengal knows today it has made history. After more than three decades of being governed by the Left, the state has chosen Mamata Banerjee's paribartan or "change". Outside her residence in the modest Palighat home in Kolkata, hundreds of workers from her Trinamool Congress sprinkled the celebratory "gulaal" or powdered colour in the air. One young man said he believes Mamata Banerjee is his "Captain Cool".
