National Highway 310, stretching from Tashi View Point in Gangtok to Mangan in North Sikkim, is disrupted in multiple sections due to landslides triggered by the heavy rainfall that has hit the state over the past few days. The Roads and Bridges Department of the state government is actively working to restore connectivity along the highway. More than 1,200 tourists are stranded in Lachung alone. Several tourists who managed to reach Mangan from Lachung last Wednesday (June 12) are now stuck there as they await evacuation.
