Aviation short of Air Traffic Controllers

While the aviation industry has grown phenomenally, there aren't enough air traffic controllers to handle the growing air traffic by an ATC official. The result is a high level of stress. Now there's a concern that the burnout could pose a serious threat to air passenger safety. In a mid-air spat a few days ago in Chennai, an air force pilot wanted the air traffic controller's clearance to climb to a higher altitude. But he was asked to shut up.
