On Reality Check, we examine a paradox: Today, if you question the government, you question the state, question the ruling party, or its leaders, you risk being labelled as anti-national, or even slapped with charges of sedition. But what happens when in the name of religion, members of the ruling establishment question the writ of the court, even issue warnings? Not just any court - but the highest court of appeal under India's Constitution. This seems to be the case in the current escalation of the rhetoric on the Ram temple, after the Supreme Court deferred the hearing of what is known as the title suit of the case till early next year.
