Referring to the Ayodhya judgment as "balanced" and "statesman-like", CS Vaidhyanathan, the lawyer representing Ram Lalla or infant Lord Ram, said the verdict should be welcomed and acted on in a graceful manner. The lawyer said, "The ruling is a matter of pride for Indian democracy." Explaining the judgement, the lawyer stated that the "Muslims have not been able to prove adverse procession, but the worship of Hindus at the temple site was accepted." The lawyer also reiterated that the fact that the demolition occurred can't be disputed.
