Another horrific rape case came to light when a 12-year-old girl was raped by a 65-year-old shopkeeper in South Delhi's Vasant Kunj area. Initially, reluctant to speak up, today the 12-year-old's parents are seeking justice with the intervention of Mahila Shakti Mandal - a group of women who play an active role in Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation's unique Bal Mitra Mandal concept of child protection. To promote the message of securing childhood, Bal Mitra Mandal observed Rakshabandhan as 'Suraksha Bandhan' this year.
