Ban on mining, changing buying patterns affecting auto sector
Jagdish Khattar, CMD, Carnation Auto says that ban on mining activity in some states is also likely to impact auto sector along with change in buying patterns. He also said that there is a serious slowdown in passenger car sales, which may improve if price differential between petrol, diesel cars are narrowed. Government must look at rationalizing price difference between petrol & diesel, he added.
