Ban on under-16 participation in reality shows?
The plight of Shinjini Sengupta, the girl who fell ill allegedly on being rebuked by the judges at a dance reality show and the mushrooming reality shows involving children, has prompted quizmaster Derek O'Brien to launch an initiative to stem the rot. He has kicked off a campaign among 4,500 schools across India to keep children under 16 away from reality shows.
