In today's episode of India Global, a Bangladesh court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of Chinmoy Krishna Das, a Hindu priest, who has been arrested and jailed by the local authorities on charges of sedition. With attacks on minorities, especially Hindus continuing some are trying to flee to India in desperation to escape Islamic radicals in Bangladesh. Even Chinmoy Krishna Das's lawyer, Rabindra Ghosh, a senior lawyer in the Bangladesh Supreme Court and human rights activist, was manhandled and threatened when he went to Chittagong and submitted the pleas in the court for jailed Hindu monk, Chinmoy Krishna Das.
