Bankers to review rate cut for housing sector
After a slew of measures by the RBI to increase the credit flow to the distressed housing sector, home loan borrowers with loan sizes up to Rs 20 lakh, are probably in for a bonanza. Sources have told NDTV that home loan rates could drop sharply soon with details being worked out by the banks currently. Alongside, there could be further concessions in terms of lowering the margin requirement for home loan takers.
