A remark made during a public rally in Ramgarh of Jharkhand on February 22 has landed Chief Minister Hemant Soren in controversy. Soren in his speech advised tribals to not deposit their money in banks. "From the very beginning, I have told farmers and labourers from villages and countryside that you should not deposit your money in the bank, because the banks are continuously running into losses," said the Jharkhand Chief Minister Soren at the rally on February 22.
