Banned Naxal outfits to move HC
The Orissa state cabinet has banned the CPI-Maoist and seven other organizations believed to be linked to them under the Criminal Law Amendment Act. The decision is believed to have been taken to prevent these organisations from fomenting anti-industry and anti-displacement agitations and spreading ultra-left ideology in several parts of the state.
