Day 1 of President Barack Obama's historic visit to India saw a breakthrough in the six-year deadlock on the Indo-US nuclear deal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Obama push past the sticking points to clear the operationalising of the nuclear deal. Both countries also agreed to explore aircraft carrier technology and designing and development of jet engine technology.
