"Baseless, Wrong...": ISKCON Refutes BJP MP Maneka Gandhi's Allegations Of 'Selling Cows To Butchers'

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) on September 27 responded to the allegations of BJP MP Maneka Gandhi. Maneka Gandhi in a viral video alleged that the organization sells cows to butchers. Talking to ANI, ISKCON Communications Director Vrajendra Nandan Das condemned the statements of the BJP leader. "ISKCON condemns the false statements made by Maneka Gandhi. She has made a baseless statement. There are over 240 cows in ISKCON's Anantpur Gaushala that do not give milk at all, only 18-19 cows give milk there. All the cows are taken care of with the utmost affection. Officials including DM, MPs, MLAs and health officials who have also visited the Gaushala said that the statement made by Maneka Gandhi is absolutely wrong..." said Vrajendra Nandan Das. Earlier, taking it to X, the ISKCON rejected the allegations as "unsubstantiated and false".
