The streets of Chhattisgarh's Bastar fill with people and colours during the 75-day-long celebrations of Dussehra. The festival is being celebrated since the times of 13th century king Purushottam Dev and is organised by the royal family. Showcasing the region's rich cultural heritage, the festival features a two-storey-tall chariot crafted by skilled artisans and pushed on the streets by 400 people.
