Battle For JP Legacy: Akhilesh Vs Yogi Iconic War?

Ahead of Dusshera the politically potent state of Uttar Pradesh, there is a lot of drama unraveling in the state of UP between the ruling Yogi Adityanath led BJP government and the Opposition Samajwadi Party. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Friday garlanded a bust of Jayaprakash Narayan mounted on a vehicle outside his residence where hundreds of party workers had gathered after authorities blocked his visit to the JP International Centre citing security concerns.This is interesting as while this is about the legacy of JP, it's also about the tussle between BJP and SP, SP's alliance and friendship with Congress that JP opposed, and more importantly about the need for parties to respect each other's icons.
