Battleground Bihar: 'Bijli Not Enough to Get My Vote'
For those who think Bihar elections are all about caste, here's a sobering thought. Caste may have a role to play but in a state where aspirations have moved on to the next level, voters want better civic amenities. Like this Muzaffarpur farmer who has access to 22 hours of electricity a day but is asking - why should I vote for electricity alone? I pay for it. What about good schools, jobs for the poor and better irrigation facilities?
